HDT Winter Donation Drive

October 18-29 (M-F, 10AM-4PM) at our office

The temperature has been dropping with the coldest still to come. For those experiencing homelessness and children living in poverty, receiving warm clothing and other essentials can make a serious impact. Please join us in collecting goods for two incredible local organizations, Eastside Baby Corner and Facing Homelessness. Let's spread kindness this season and always.

The Hao Dang Team supports Eastside Baby Corner and Facing Homelessness because we appreciate the work they do for our community. We feel extremely fortunate to have our basic needs met as we recognize that's not the case for thousands of people in Seattle and the Eastside. We all live better when those around us have what they need and feel cared for.

Eastside Baby Corner

Eastside Baby Corner helps children have what they need to grow, play, learn and thrive. They do this by providing essential care, safety, and health goods for children who are experiencing homelessness, poverty or family disruption.

All child sized items donated will go to EBC as they provide essentials for kids ages birth through 12 years. EBC accepts and appreciates new or quality used

  • Diapers

  • Clothing

  • Toys

  • Shoes

  • Bedding

If you would like to help virtually, you can find their giving catalogue here.

For more information on EBC, click here.

Facing Homelessness

Facing Homelessness invites all of us to come closer, to reach out and create caring, human connection with people experiencing homelessness and with one another. Their programs are designed to bring people into connection, reduce fear of the unknown, and build all of our capacity for compassion which leads to action. The aim is to truly humanize homelessness because when we see someone we know suffering, we're more willing to act.

All adult sized donations for this drive will go directly towards the Window of Kindness. At the Window of Kindness, volunteers hand out thousands of socks, gloves, snacks, sleeping bags and other supplies essential to staying dry and warm and your donation will help supply these items. FH is in need of adult sized:

  • Socks (new only)

  • Sleeping bags

  • Tents

  • Backpacks

  • Coats

  • Hats

  • Gloves

  • Mens' clothing

Please ensure that items are new or gently used (clean and undamaged).

If you would like to help virtually, you can find their Amazon wishlist here.

For more information on FH, read about them here.

Beginning Monday, October 18 you can bring your donations to our office at 11711 SE 8th St Suite #120, Bellevue, WA 98005. Then through Friday, October 29 you can drop your items off M-F between 10AM and 4PM.
